Ross stupid and Cobb smart = same play

Randall Cobb wisely steps out of bounds while touching the ball on a kick off and people praise his genius.

Jeremy Ross does it, people call him stupid???

Cobb had 7 fumbles and 4 of them were lost during his first two regular seasons in the NFL. Ross has 1 fumble and 1 lost during the regular season.

Why the double standard here?

Because Cobb doesn't make critical mistakes that cost us points at critical moments of games.

because Cobb was a 2nd round pick who instantly contributed on the offense and Ross was a street free agent who is now on his 3rd team in 3 years.

He is the typical "red headed step child". He can do no right and Cobb can do no wrong.

Understandable, but why not bash Aaron Rodgers for his interception when he had two guys in front of him open that would have moved the chains when he instead tossed it deep to a covered WR?
