You may, or may not, see the "G" with the blue jerseys when Green Bay takes on Cleveland in October.

Well it makes sense seeing as how they're playing the Browns. Personally though I don't care for throwbacks jerseys unless it's Thanksgiving or the "75th meeting between two teams" type of games. Seemed like a few years ago the Cowboys wore their alternate/throwback unis more than their normal ones.

I like tradition and old jerseys but I have never been excited about these. If they don't have to wear the ugly helmet so much the better.

Teams can't wear the Throwback helmet brands. It's a safety issue per the NFL Safety Committee. They can however wear the new brand helmets with throwback graphics .Hopefully not, because [puke] [puke] [puke] [puke] [puke] [puke] [puke] [puke] [puke]

Personally I always liked these, but I even like the throwup, I mean throwback uniforms they've worn recently, too. The new ones aren't green 'n gold, but something still appeals to me about them

I wanted the brown helmets. I thought that was SO FREAKING COOL! Got tickets to that game just for this purpose, to see them in their full throwbacks.

In Vince Lombardi's(1959) his first year as Packer Head Coach/General manager. made the decision to use green/gold uniforms. The Packers won 6 NFL Championships wearing the Blue and Gold uniforms. 1929, 1930, 1931, 1936, 1939, and 1944. They went undefeated wearing the Blue & Gold in 1929, going 12-0-1.

I think the NFL would be doing everyone a favor if they just scrapped the entire idea of throwback jerseys every season. There are some fugly jerseys and to be honest, I am not fond of the Packers throwbacks (there are uglier though).
