McCarthy on his press conference just said that when releasing him that he's still in the competition and that they know what they have with him. Basically, they didn't wanna go into 4th game with three kickers.

I think the new kid wins it. He can drill it and he's more accurate than Crosby and less expensive.

Ramirez's arrival at camp is another nail in Crosby's coffin. I'm all for moving on without Crosby on our roster.

Just don't see how Crosby doesn't get the job...

The guy made all his Kicks in the preseason. 3 for 3? 4 for 4? .. I mean Tavecchio missed one from a reasonable distance.

What is the curve when grading these guys? Does practice matter? Does games matter? If you put it all together Crosby has had the best preseason except family night.

I mean I guess you could get Ramirez cheaper sure. But why take the chance on that guy who hasn't been with us for a matter of a week?

Idk this process is just really confusing right now.

Mason Crosby's kicking woes return

If Crosby were doing well, they wouldn't have two other kickers competing for the position.

Something was awkward with him. He seemed to lose his balance every time.
