Can you count any playoff team out from going to the Super Bowl or winning it? I only ask because you seem rather definitive with your statement. We've seen a 10-win Green Bay team run through the NFC, the Giants do the same with nine wins, and a 10-win Baltimore team go through the AFC. It seems as if 10 teams enter the playoffs with real Super Bowl aspirations. There are exceptions like the 2010 Seahawks or the 2012 Colts, who are just happy to be in the dance, but in today’s age, the playoffs have never been as wide open. My point is that I don’t think you can count Seattle as one of the two or three exceptions per season. If they make the playoffs, they’ll be very dangerous.

opinion that the Seahawks won't make the Super Bowl this season, and yes, I feel confident in that opinion. They haven't proven enough for me to believe in them, and I have a feeling they won't take a big step forward this season. The prediction is no more right or wrong than a prediction that they will go to the Super Bowl and win it. It is what it is, and just like I said in my first post of this thread, predictions like this are impossible.
If the Packers and Seahawks were to meet in the playoffs, as of this moment, I would be taking the Packers. I would also take the 49'ers in the same situation. There could be a few other teams that could potentially beat them as well, perhaps a reasonable 50/50 chance (vs. a no-brainer win by the Seahawks). That's the basis of my opinion.
