GREEN BAY - For good or bad, one of the most memorable moments of the 2012 NFL season came on a Monday night in Seattle.
For most, the first recollection of that game is fateful final play when Golden Tate was awarded a touchdown by the replacement referee in charge.
Video evidence appeared to show otherwise, and an outrage immediately ensued across the NFL.
The bad call cost the Packers the game, and it was such a black eye on the NFL that the labor settlement between the league and the referees was quickly resolved shortly thereafter.
But something else may have happened during that game that appears to have had a lasting effect on the Packers throughout the rest of the season, continuing on through the offseason and possibly into this year and beyond..
