Crosby was unbelievably bad. He is gone.
Loved Lacy's runs.

I was most impressed by Eddie Lacy. He looked like a beast. Shields looked pretty good too. Ross made some good returns, looks like he could take over returns full time if he continues to shine like this.

Crosby looked like where he left off last year struggling, I mean he missed like what 5 field goals? Overall I like what I saw today. Next week will begin the real test.

I agree about Lacy, he seems fun to watch.
Starks seemed pretty good too.
Maybe it was the camera angle, but did it look like Cobb had put on some muscle?
Shields looked good, but mainly against second stringers I think.
I suck at focusing on defense so I don't really know how they did as individuals.
The we Hines(sp)? Seemed promising.

Eddie Lacy looked very, very good. He ran with authority and was decisive with his cutbacks. It's just a scrimmage, but he had to get the coaching staff’s attention. A good week leading up to Friday’s preseason game, and he’ll be working ahead of James Starks full-time.

The right tackle job is down to Marshall Newhouse and David Bakhtiari. Those two were alternating reps with the 1s and I don't recall seeing Barclay playing much right tackle. I think Bakhtiari has a real good chance to unseat Newhouse before week one.

Mason Crosby was awful. The kicking competition just got real.

The No. 1 offense looked incredible. Aaron Rodgers has total command of the offense. I know that's stating the obvious, but he looked like Week five Aaron Rodgers and not Family Night Aaron Rodgers.

D.J. Williams has a leg up on the competition for TE2. They definitely like his versatility and he looked more engaged in the offense.

Sam Shields made one pass break up early where he displayed amazing closing speed. He also made a tackle. It wasn't pretty, but he got his man down. I know he was more physical last season, but I still have nightmares of 2011.

Overall, I’m not going to put too much stock into a glorified practice, but I don’t recall the Packers looking this good at Family Night in quite sometime.

got to say lacy pretty much wrapped up the starting spot. hawk is slimmer and faster, franklin needs to be polished. green showed great blocking but his runs were not that great. pease showed great promise he does need practice on his lambeu leap lol. all in all outside crosby and coleman did great the team looked like it finally had some real attitude cant wait til fri to see how we look with the cards. i hope they only use lacy for about a half and let franklin get some time in there to polish up

Worried that both the ILbs are a little too slender now.
What just made Crosby even more expendable was Masthay on kickoffs.

forgive my ignorance but can you watch this family nite on tv? ...

read JS'sonline take on it ... and they only mentioned ross messed up on 2 passes (1 slip led to a int) and something else ... they didn't even mention his returns.

lacy sounded real good (thought he was going to be a Great addition) - I just wonder whom we will keep.

And the WRs and TEs also ... who we keeping there ... and the Dline ... we keeping jolly? or is he going to be the odd man out.

Kuhn too ...

nervous for all these guys ... Crosby ya too bad he might not make it back this year. But I don't like the strength of the other guys legs ... got to be able to kick a 60 yarder :)

I was impressed most by:

1. Lacy - he will be great in Green Bay. Just what we needed.

2. Starks - ran really well. A full year of that will be huge.

3. Brandon Smith - big corner who looks the part, and made some really great plays. Missed on Cobb early (a lot of CBs will get spun by Cobb), but the next play, came in and hit Lacy in the backfield. Also had a good pick in the end zone.

4. Johnny Jolly - holy shit! Great to see him back with us, and he can move!

5. AJ Hawk - looks like he really put some work in this offseason. This may be the fastest I have seen him, and that change could pay off big time.

6. Omarius Hines at WR. Size, hands and poise. Wow. Ted is THE man at finding WRs.

7. Datone Jones. He's going to be special.

8. Davon House - look good again. Hopefully, he can have a great full season.

9. Giorgio Tavecchio - he will be our next K. It will be great to put more points on the board.

10. Sam Barrington - nice read and react

A lot of our regulars looked good. Ross looked great on returns. I like the Amosa kid at FB. When did we get a Banjo?

Oops! Almost forgot Pease!!!!! Great RB. We have an incredible group back there. Pease will give Green serious competition for a roster position.

A lot of great reaction here.

A lot of yall have hinted this already and I want to say that I agree. I think the new guy takes Kuhn's spot this year.
