Not me.

I think there would be any number of better options out there, both currently on the Packers, and free agents. Plus, Driver has as much chance as getting hurt, or more due to age, than any of the other younger wide receivers. Playing the "what if" game is always silly and pointless.

I'm not saying I couldn't POSSIBLY imagine a scenario in which Driver comes back for another year, but I really hope it doesn't come to that point. It would only mean bad things for the Packers season.

Being Driver was washed up three years ago, I feel so bad about being close minded about not wanting him as an emergency receiver. When a receiver can be easily caught from behind and drops passes at a high rate, he is not useful on a team like the Packers anymore, that relies on YAC for their offense. Some guys just can't deal with their nostalgia vices I guess.

The days of the BIG 5 are dead and I am totally fine with that. Add another TE to the formation, throw to a running back... it is all coolio to me!

True ...... IF and only if we have another season of Aaron Rodgers harrassed by unchecked pass rush. Yeah, then you need to get rid of it quick to a TE, RB, whatever.

But ...... if the strong chance of an enhanced running threat and maybe we even get better O Line blocking, then Mr. Rodgers' neighborhood expands exponentially - a lot more deep patterns, a lot more double moves, some play action, etc. And if that is the case, we hopefully will see occasionally 5 WRs on the field and a lot of 4 WRs, and we hopefully will find out early that some of these young guys with measureables can also get open and catch the ball. I'm expecting 6 WRs on the 53 roster including one of those two 7th round picks, and the other 7th plus a UDFA on the practice squad.
