GREEN BAY -- It was hardly a surprise when offensive tackle Derek Sherrod, defensive end Jerel Worthy and even running back DuJuan Harris were placed on the training-camp physically unable to perform list Thursday.

But defensive end Mike Neal?

Important to note:

The active/PUP list is not the same as the in-season PUP.
As soon as a team clears a player on the active/PUP list, he is eligible to practice.

When the Green Bay Packers hit the practice fields for the start of training camp they will be without a sizable group of players that have yet to be cleared to practice. According to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun, the Packers placed seven players on the PUP list Thursday prior to the start of...

Sherrod, Harrel and Murphy were all injured. Because of injuries, the book is out on last year's draft. Of the other 16, I see only Brohm, Jackson and Carrol as true busts. I would rank 6 of those as stars (Bold above). It gives me hope for Jones and Lacy as TT's track record is pretty decent overall.
