If we're doing Keeper league, barring preseason injuries, my picks are:

Calvin Johnson
Robert Griffin
Jermichael Finley

It appears I haven't thought much into this whole KEEPER league thing. lol.

If someone wants to keep Aaron Rodgers for 10 years, I'm cool with that. It means the site is still alive. :)

I checked FleaFlicker and I don't see where we could set an expriation of any kind. So I think we'll just roll with keep'em as long as you choose to.

Another aspect to consider.. can users trade players prior to the keeper date.. example.. if you have 4 players that are worthy of keeping and another player has only two.. can they trade picks to obtain the overflow? Can you sign a free agent to the keeper list?

Holy crap this Keeper league thing has too many variables.

Shawn, do you want to lay out the rules for this keeper league? Or should we just scrap keep and go back to pure draft? The latter might actually be better since we'll probably have 2-4 new entrants each season.

I just don't have the time (or intelligence) to divulge into all the variables for this keeper stuff.

Let's say someone decides they want to keep little Manning. He should have to keep Eli on his team and wait until everyone else fills their rosters before he is allowed to replace him.

It is no big deal if everyone knows and understands this beforehand. I guarantee you someone at some point will try to drop their injured player and go into the draft with an empty slot.

I apologize for the confusion, but due to my ignorance and lack of KEEPER league experience, this league is going to be a full re-draft league instead. Sorry. Too many variables to hash out and just don't have the time.

If you wish to opt out because of this, please respond as such in a post following this one.

Didn't mean to drive you crazy Kevin. All the issues are doable. Just need to have everyone on the same page on draft day.

There are probably prepackaged league rules that can be used. I am not sure which ones you would want to use.

dfosterf (2h) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
