+1 to Fred for making me laugh out loud despite his trollery.

This is sad....my first game at Lambeau and this is what I am having to look forward to. I'm locking myself in my room.

NO worries mate.. it will still tingle your nerves as you walk up the concrete ramp and get the first cool breeze of air flow off the field and the excitement race in your heart as you see the first couple blades of grass twisting in the wind..

My eyes always seem to catch the ring of honor and then sweep from endzone to endzone and soak it all in.

The game is just a bonus, the crowd will be in full throat regardless... soak the moments in and enjoy..

I have been there 45 to 50 times over the years.. each time I walk through the ramp leading into the bowl I get that little kid feeling racing through me and I swear I could suit up that moment.. even through the painful years of the 70's and 80's...

It never gets old and trust me, the 08 position will have little bearing once you step from the concourse to the stadium... you will feel it.

Thanks pack93z. Don't get me wrong, I am still excited and highly look forward to next Sunday. I couldn't pass up the tix. $60 dollars...umm, I think section 107 Row 43 I believe. Really can't wait and everyone has said the same thing about walking up that concrete ramp.
I am sure after this game I will want to go to a game every year.

The Packers D can't stop the run.

Kevin Smith is running well.

The Packers can't win close games.

The Lions have been playing teams fairly close at times this year. Obviously not including the Saints game.

The Packers can't run the ball so they can't keep Calvin Johnson off the field.

The Packers struggle against bigger receivers.

The only thing the Packers have going for them is the Lions haven't won a game.

Something has to give and quite frankly I have a bad feeling because the Lions like the Titans, Texans, and Bears have an outstanding kicker.

The bright side of the coin..

1997 we lost to a pathetic team in the Colts.. and went onto the superbowl.. that was the Superbowl for the Colts that year.. so even if we lose.. we can always hang onto the "any given Sunday" mantra..

for the FIRST time this season, i am ashamed to be a packers fan but NOT because of the team, simply because of people like those on here who are actually ashamed of the packers & are happy they "predicted" what was gonna happen this season. i have held my head high in fuckin ILLINOIS for around 35 years of being a packers fan - NO MATTER WHAT!!!

A +1 for you. I am a Packer fan in good and bad and that will never change. I will never be ashamed.

I've been ashamed of my fellow Packers fans ever since the story emerged that so-called fans were cursing Rodgers out  -- and worse, encouraging their little kids to curse him out! His only offense? Not being the clay-footed god these "fans" had worshiped for 16 years. I would have expected this kind of behavior out of Philadelphia or Cleveland fans, but Green Bay fans? Never!

I understand it to some point if I put myself into a Favre fanatics shoes, Rodgers said of getting booed. The things I cant understand, the things I really take personally, is when Im driving up to the (parking lot) gate and punching in my punch code and somebody says F.U. to me. That kind of bothers me. Or when a little kid is yelling swear words at me. That kind of gets to me. The boos, they expect a high level of play and they miss Brett Favre. I understand that. But the F.U. and the little kids saying swear words to me, I dont understand that.

This is true. I will be flying in from Missouri. And there is no place I would rather be. I don't care if we are 0-15. Its Lambeau, and its the Green Bay Packers.

And that is why you're the Iron Man. LOL
That'a the one great thing about this team and stadium to me. We could be 0-15 but when I come to that city and walk into the Lambeau shrine all the negative seems to dissapear and I just love the people and the atmosphere. Makes me wonder where the negative posters on hear come from as I've never met one at a game

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
