Someone can check the math on the topic title. But I believe it's true, or close to it and with that said, this quote rings a cord ...

The first thing Ryan Clark and Troy Polamalu and Ike Taylor and those guys said to me when I walked into the defensive back room, was if you don’t stick your face in the thing, you can’t be on this defense. If you aren’t ready to hit — we don’t care about interceptions — if you aren’t ready to hit, we don’t need you.

We've got the most cumulative INTs over the last 3 seasons with 73! New England (68) and Chicago (65) are next over that same span.

We were ranked #8 last year with 18, and #1 in 2011 with 31, #2 in 2010 with 24.

CHI led the league last season with 24.

BAL leads post season cumulative INT total over that 3 year span with 14. GB #2 with 11. We had 8 of those in the 2010 post season. Remarkable.

I think we are all judging our defense on the debacle in San Francisco, which was an anomaly of a game played by a short handed defense. I expect a much improved defense fielded in 2013.

A healthy Perry, an improved Neal and Dantone Jones will hopefully transform a weakness, pass rush, into a strength. Then the rest should fall into place...hopefully.
Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame?
