You're completely wrong!!! No sarcasm here!!!

After 5years of hawk sucks, and 1 year of Jones is mediocre, I have been convinced.

Ted Thompson has really screwed the pooch, at the ILB position, costing The Packers who knows how many championships!!!

What's the old saying? Anyone can win 1!!!

It's becoming quite obvious that Ted Thompsons draft and develope phiosophy is not working!!!

It's becoming quite obvious that The Packers coaching staff gets outcoached in big games.

It has become quite obvious to me that changes need to be made, and need to be made NOW not later!!

!. Get rid of hawk and Jones NOW so their replacements have a whole pre-season to get ready

2.Serve notice to McCarthy and staff, enough is enough, get the job done, or get out of Green Bay.

3. Ted Thompson, quit wasting The Packers money on resigning inferior players, and get your shit together and start drafting players with talent, getting tired of all the 1st rnd busts!!!

What's interesting is that being a former linebacker, Thompson should probably have the most insight at this position and has not been able to pull a rabbit from a hat like Tramon Williams or Sam Shields. Maybe it's the coaching?

Let's take a look at teds #1 picks

2005...A.Rodgers(Ted got lucky, Aaron Rodgers fell to him, was the perfect scenario to start his D & D plan)
2006...A.J. Hawk(An absolute wasted pick, never played to his potential,Ted rewards him with a new 5 yr contract instead of getting his ass out of town)
2007...Justin Harrell(Ranks right up there with Tony Mandarich as one of the worst picks in Packer history)
2008...Jordy Nelson, Brian Brohm, Patrick lee(no 1st rnd pick, of the 3 2nd rnd picks only Nelson has performed, the other 2 complete busts)
2009...B.J. Raji(1 year wonder, now expecting a huge 2nd contract, will Ted comply?)
..........Clay Mathews(Congrats Ted you got 1 right!!!)
2010...Bryan Bulaga(Starting on one of MOST MEDIOCRE O-LINES in the NFL, can't stay healthy, just another Ted Thompson error in ability judgement)
2011...Derek Sherrod( see 2007 comment)
2012...Nick Perry (????,looked decent till he like most of Teds LBr choices he ended up injured)
2013...Datone Jones( who knows, still hasn't signed his rookie contract, falling farther and farther behind every day)

Of the 11 players taken, 2 are at the top of their position(Rodgers,Mathews), 1 in the top 15 at his position(Nelson), the rest are not worthy of their draft position.
There are 5 complete busts, that's almost 50%.
The others are fast becoming bust material.

So don't tell me I'm being sarcastic, Ted Thompson's Draft and develop is turning out to be a complete fail!!!

(they do need to be signed to be at training camp but that hasn't started yet).

Also his SR. year he got new coaches/system and they used a lot of the same terminology, scheme and technique that the Packers use. So he's ahead.

And I know people love to hate on Harrell, but he was very good at shedding OL. And his career ending injury (his back one) happened in the Packers weight room after he was drafted.

As for Perry... the jury is still out.

Why waste your time beast? The balls to the wall venom comes out whenever the subject turns to Hawk. There's just no reasoning with him.

Regardless, there has been plenty of well thought out and honest commentary regarding AJ Hawk in numerous threads over the years.

But then again there will always be that guy, the ones fans are complaining about.

Weather it's Harrell, Hawk, Bush... heck I remember them complaining about Collins, and people wanting to bench him for Rouse because Rouse could catch an INT and Collins couldn't for a while there (while Rouse was also giving up a TD for every INT he had and giving up more pass plays gambling trying to get the INT)

There will always be someone fans are complaining about.

Buckeyepackfan, it's a close call, but assuming you are serious, I'm gonna have to disagree with you. The record is what the record is in the Thompson/McCarthy era. Yeah, a huge amount of that is luck in having Aaron Rodgers turn out to be maybe the best player in history, but he has had enough successes otherwise also to make the Packers certainly one of the top five teams, and this year, arguably the best in the league. Basically, the early round failures are cancelled out by the late round and UDFA finds.

So buckeyepackfan who are the packers supposed to get if they cut Hawk and Bishop. What FA would be an upgrade at this point. You can't have superstars at every position sometimes you just have to roll with what you have

I am tired of being accused of showing favoritism to players because of where they played their College ball.

I'm tired of pretending to support a GM who has shown his way of putting together a team does not work.

I am done with arguing with some on this forum.

Ted Thompson failed to address what most think is the SINGLE biggest reason The Packers as a team have failed.

A.J. Hawk and Brad Jones have no business playing in Green Bay, if Ted would have done his job in 2009, The Packers would have at least 3 rings by now.

FIRE TED THOMPSON!!!!!!!!

Then maybe Green Bay can once again become Titletown USA.

Hawk has been a solid player... He's not Patrick Willis, but he will make plays. He's not hurting our team at all. And if you wanna bring injuries to the equation, Hawk has been healthy throughout his whole Career. Give him credit for that. 09' and 10' he helped make our defense one of the best in the league imo.

Bulaga, Raji, Sherrod, and Perry are still YOUNG. Busts my ass!

Sherrod got hurt on a freak injury.. Can the Packers prevent a broken leg..? N to the o. If he never recovers, yes he could be a bust. But he's not Harrell just yet. He got hurt year in and year out. Lets wait to see this one.

We'd be bad without Raji trust me. He's a NT in a 3-4 defense for crist sakes. The guy won't put up godly numbers. But he doesn't get pushed around like some of our other linemen. What are your expectations? He's not a bad player.

Bulaga only had one bad game in my mind. The Seahawks game. Other than that, he's been solid. Bust? Ha. He's probably our second best Run blocking lineman next to Sitton.. Came in at RT for our superbowl run and played a solid game ever since. Another Bust? My ass.

Perry is defiantely not a bust either. C'mon the guy played in 6 games, coming out of college never playing OLB. Give him a break.

And really? Datone Jones?#-o That's a fail on yourself if you think he's falling behind. He can still participate in OTAs genius.

Funny, you only listed the first rounders. (Except Nelson)

Let's list some players Thompson acquired over the years that you forgot to mention. Nick Colins, John Kuhn, Tramon Williams, Ryan Pickett, Greg Jennings, Charles Woodson, James Jones, Desmond Bishop, Mason Crosby, Josh Sitton, Jermicheal Finley, T.J. Lang, Brad Jones, Morgan Burnett, Mike Neal, Sam Shields, Randall Cobb, Casey Hayward, and now Datone Jones, Eddie Lacy, and Johnathan Franklin. Was he lucky to get all those players too?

Please if you think you can do better go call of Ted yourself and give him some pointers.
