When I was a kid I was a dolphins fan. They had all the coolest names...Griese, Kiick, Warfield, Czonka. But in 1974 they had a bunch of guys jump to the World League so it was like I lost my team. I lived near the border of WI and IL and loyalties tended to be split (even in my own house, Mom was from Ripon and a Packers fan, Dad was a Bears fan) and as most of the Bears fans I knew were pr**ks, I decided to root for the Packers. Despite the ups and downs since (Hunter/Tagge/Del Gaizo?) I have been a loyal Packer Backer ever since.
