Exactly why the Jets are like their record. Because their defense has won games that Favre couldn't.

Fred, I say this with the kindest of intentions. Grow up, stop trolling, or you WILL find yourself banned. The mods don't have infinite patience, and we now have a crusty, old Marine NCO on staff here.

Exactly, Steve. If you don't make the playoffs, who gives a shit what your record is?

9-6 in the Packers division is tied for first place.

At least the Jets have a reason to play on Sunday other than to try to keep the Detroit Lions winless.

It's more than Favre, though you like to turn it directly into that. I still don't agree with the Favre move but believe me my list of grievances goes way beyond that. Justin Harrell anyone?

You can call it choking but IMO this is a .500 team at best that suffered some injuries. I have said it time after time, the talent on this team is average, pure and simple.

It's looking harder and harder to argue with you seeing some of the flaws on this team, namely up front on the O and D.

It's kind of interesting to see all involved with the team say again and again though that this team is way more talented than its record, and more talented than being .500 too.

Heck even Woodson said this team was too talented not to make the playoffs, yet they haven't. Like Woodson, I'm at a loss to explain why.

First game of the season Miami was ready to win the game against the Jets but what happened? The defense stepped up and made a pick IN THE END ZONE.

Against the Bills this season, the Bills should have ran the clock out but Losman rolled out and lost the football which Ellies returned for a TD in the last two minutes.

If the Packers had defensive stands like this in the end of games we would be in the playoffs.
