Fire McCarthy. PLEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAASSSSSSSEEEEEEE

In all these years I've never seen a coach turn into such a pansy in the 4th quarter 4 WEEKS IN A ROW

Did you happen to see the Bills / Jets game a couple of weeks back?

Inside two minutes, Bills have Losman drop back to pass, gets sacked, fumbles, and the Jets D picks it up and runs it back for the TD.

ALL OTHER NFL COACHES WOULD PLAY IT SAFE. Lovie did the exact same thing, he game it Forte, and Forte worked his magic and got them closer to FG range. Then Gould hit the winning FG in OT.

McCarthy just did what any coach in the NFL would do in the same situation, you can't blame him for that IMO.

Exactly. McCarthy normally always does the smart thing, the idea that has the best percentage of working out, but for some reason we've been on the opposite side of the ratio this season, something I equate to uhhh...luck?

I didn't like writing it. Maybe it was too harsh. But it's hard to come to any other conclusion when the same thing happens week after week.

Somebody mentioned Aaron Rouse. Remember not so long ago, when he was our promising young safety who we thought would be starting on a lot of other teams? But then it was like he suddenly turned into a scrub. He does have talent. He's just too undisciplined out there.

And Nick Collins reverted to last year's form, dropping two interceptions. He did eventually pick one off, but one out of three isn't good enough.

Guess Brett was the reason we won all those games last year, eh?

I guess Brett Favre wasn't wrong for audiblizing out of 78% of Mike McCarthy plays....

Yea, Brett didn't throw a terrible interception that cost us the chance to go to the super bowl. You're right. He never chokes.

I'm up in the air about how McCarthy managed that last drive. When we got the ball, my feeling was that we needed a TD, not a field goal. Be aggressive. Your kicker already botched one earlier in the game.

McCarthy thinks the world of Crosby, so I can't fault him for pinning the game on him.

I really think McCarthy was trying to play to win, he desperately wants a win for his team. Unfortunately, the STs let them down this game. Something seems to let them down in the closing moments of the 4th Q.

I said this to everyone I was watching the game with. Nick Collins dropped that sure pick and just laughed it off like it was just some miscue. Bears than score a TD. I mean, he did the good thing by knocking the ball down but you only get your opportunities so much and the Bears made the most out of theirs.
