Tramon Williams is still a solid cover corner I wouldn't go as far as to cutting him from the team. Only thing that's trickled him the past few seasons is tackling imo. If he has a bad year ya release him, move on. I just don't see it happening.

Newhouse I could see happening but he's developed into a decent player since he was drafted. Gotten bigger, sured up on some fundamentals. He just doesn't have the feet counter some fast pass rushers. I still like them to keep Newhouse for at least another year.

Jarrett Bush and M.D. Jennings are possible players I could see them letting go. Maybe D.J. Williams or Andrew Quarless too.

Personally, I think next offseason is either a contract rework or and exit from Green Bay for Tramon.. unless he returns to pre-shoulder injury form this season.

Personally, I can't see this happening... especially with Sherrod just coming off such a serious injury. Newhouse isn't a blue chip tackle by any means, but he also isn't pink slip worthy either. At least not yet.

I would love to see Datko develop and take his spot.. but I think the Packers continually error on not establishing and developing true tackles at the starters and then back fill with versatile replacements.. Datko would be a true tackle playing the position..

I am excited to see how Bakhtiari adjusts to the NFL game at the edge.. upper body wise not sure he can handle the edge.. struggles with speed rushers and slow to establish that first step and anchor.. not sure he will stick at tackle. Probably a swing guy.. I wish him or Trekker.. or someone comes in and becomes an ass kicker in the middle of that line.. I think and have thought it has been missing for a great while in Green Bay.. Flanny was probably the last real nasty physical guy inside. Lang, Sitton and ??? would make a truly physical trio in the middle.

I don't know. If he beats out both Sherrod and Datko, great! I really like Newhouse. He just didn't show too well last season.

Yes... and the Packers toyed with kicking him inside as well.

Personally.. I can't wait  for Campen to be walked.. even if it takes walking the whole damn staff. lol.

There is no damn way.. with as long as he has been here.. that yearly we should be answering questions on the offensive line because he fails to develop a solid unit. Period.

Said the same damn thing in 2008.. 2009.. 2010.. 2011. and 2012.. and I am pretty damn sure that it will not change this season. Inconsistency has been his trademark along with running through prospect after prospect.

I gave up on him in 2008.. two years after Ted handed him 3 picks to develop.. pathetic.

If Sherrod is healthy to compete he will get every shot to start at LT. Either way, either one that starts we will have pretty damn good depth at Tackle.

Their best picks by far are Sitton, Lang, Bulaga, and Sherrod. We've just had nothing behind them and we had problems finding that one LT. I say see what Bulaga has at LT. I thought we drafted him to play LT in the first place. We don't have to force him to play LT, we can just see what he's got there. I think Newhouse/Sherrod can develop nicely at the RT position instead of the pressure every snap of protecting the best QB in the league.

Name a drafted Offensive Lineman under Campen's watch that is drafted, assigned a position and left to develop in that position. I can name 1. Sitton. I think it is not a coincidence that he is the only Pro Bowl caliber player currently on the roster.

And I think that goes a long way in developing a offensive line, especially if you are going to play them early in their career. No.. instead we flip them around like ping pong balls and expect them to play well when thrown to the wolves.

Lang, Bulaga, Colledge, Moll, Spitz, Coston, Barbre, Giacomini, Newhouse.. even Sherrod and Meredith were dicked with along the line.

Playing on offensive line is not only just personal talent.. it is continuity between the 5 and guys being able to rely that the other 4 are reading things the same way. Constantly flipping them from spot to spot, you disrupt that greatly. We have tried it for years.. since 2004/2005 in fact.. and it continues to fail year after year.

Again.. your backups, I can understand the concept if you have a solid starting core.. but trying to carry 7 or 8 with the moto of bouncing them around, especially the guys that are being counted on to play.. recipe for failure.
