The Packers announced their extension with Aaron Rodgers on Friday afternoon and now we've got the first reports about the value of Rodgers' deal. Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that Rodgers signed a deal worth $110 million over five years that will kick in for the 2015 season and run through 2019.

As for striving to be highest paid ... he wasn't. And he won't be for long. It's not really a title worth giving. Especially with how they structure the contracts so goofy.
