Tonight will be a major step for Aaron and how he will be judged on his first year by Packer Fans.

Chico has had to break off many tags that have been put on him by some Packer Fans as he has endured his first year behind center.

1. He is a light weight, made of glass, and will never go through a season without missing games due to injuries.

This was flying around Green Bay all off season. Ever since he broke a bone in his foot in Dallas, then was injured again, and especially when he first injured his shoulder this year.

I think he has ripped off that tag.

2. He has no leadership qualities.

This crap started after he called out the O line in a game a few years ago, then made the famous comment about the fans getting on board.

I think he has ripped off the NO Leadership Tag.

3. He does not have the arm strength of the former Q.B.

I read that so many times, my God people are silly.

I know he ripped that arm strength tag.

4. He's from Chico California, the kid will never be able to play in the cold.

He already has, and played well.

BUT TONIGHT...

I pray he will play great in the cold again- IN CHICAGO and blow them away by 38 points.... I will gladly wait til next year for him to pull off the 5th tag...

YOU KNOW... The Game Winning Drive with less than 2 minutes left.

Tonight is going to put a cap on a great year for the Kid From Chico.

The future of this kid is racing along faster than he can pull off the tags that some Packer Fans have labeled him with.

I made a post while back in the season asking if he can handle the cold..
I am going to look it up and bring it back

Yes, this could be a big game for him. I'm sure Tony Kornhole will have picked up on the narrative about Rodgers not winning any games in the final minutes this season and will be hammering on it all night.

It would be great for Rodgers to do what Favre couldn't do last year: Win a cold weather game at Soldier Field. This is the Packers' last chance for a confidence builder going into the off season, as next week they will have nothing to gain by beating the Lions. On the other hand, a bad performance by Rodgers and the Packers will only add to their string of bad prime time games. After the win against the Vikings in week one, they lost to Dallas and New Orleans in prime time, so this would make three in a row. We don't want to see that.

Thanks Greg for a great insight, that I would have never thought of.... As always.

I am now going to pull out a pen and paper, file and note "Kornhole's" (LOL) comments, Positive on one side, and negative on the other. I will keep count.

You are a champion Greg.

I can't find the thread I made about Aaron playing in the cold..

But this is a great test

I echo the "great test" sentiments. No playoffs this year, so we'll get to see how Rodgers plays when essentially he's playing for nothing really. A chance to beat a rival and take the wind out of their playoff sails.

Rodgers gets us into game winning FG position, and it's blocked.
Will people blame this one on him too???
He did his job.

Wow RP.

You must be some kind of jinx because you are always wrong when you make predictions.

Cheesey, AROD is 0-8 now for comebacks. It seems like McCarthy doesn't trust Rodgers to put the game in his hands.

Does he know something that you don't know?

Probably.

Make all the excuses you want. Rodgers hasn't put this team on his back and won a game when it mattered.

I'm sorry.....but your full of crap.
Rodgers PUT the team into game winning FG position. Just like he did in Minny.
How can ANYONE blame HIM because our FG unit screws it up????
You have to WANT to ignore the truth to put ANY of the blame for the loss on Rodgers.
