Offensive numbers don't look like those of a 5-9 team, they aren't bad.
Defensive stats are pretty bad.
The opponents 4th down conversions is downright alarming.

Holy hell, 12 for 17 on 4th downs? Defense needs to buckle down in those situations...

Score more touchdowns than opponents and not have a winning season?! I would like to present these numbers to someone, leaving the team out, and them guessing their record.

When you look at this teams stats it is mind boggling that we are 5-9. We have scored 32 more points than we've allowed. We're +6 in turnovers which is a very telling statistic usually. We're 11th in total offense. We have 9 return TD's. We have a 3000 yard passer and a 1000 yard rusher. We have two starters in the probowl on defense. Very weird season.

When you look at this teams stats it is mind boggling that we are 5-9. We have scored 32 more points than we've allowed. We're +6 in turnovers which is a very telling statistic usually. We're 11th in total offense. We have 9 return TD's. We have a 3000 yard passer and a 1000 yard rusher. We have two starters in the probowl on defense. Very weird season.

That's why the biggest statistic to this season is 6 games lost by 5 or less points.
