PHOENIX -- The Packers cut linebacker A.J. Hawk's 2013 pay by nearly $2 million when he agreed to renegotiate his contract last week.

I'm kind of hoping they get others to renegotiate as well... like CB Williams and maybe Finley.

I doubt Finley would take any less though, and TE prices seem to be going up and he think he's one of the best if not the best, so he'll probably want a new contract around 8 million a year average... and I think talking him down to just 7 might be hard.

Williams, I know he has a shoulder injury, but his contract calls for over 6 million this year and over 7 million next year... and the CB coach couldn't even guarantee he's going to be a starter this coming year. If House stayed healthy this whole last season, they might of already told Williams they're going to reduce his amount or he would be cut.

If so, Shields will need to get a decently big contract next year and Tramon might just be gone.

Finley, if you ask me, they should've cut, already. He's not worth the money he's getting, being the inconsistent headcase he is. Since that hasn't happened, though, I don't think our FO is happy with the current back-ups taking on a starter role and there's not a whole lot left in the TE FA pool, either. With a $4.5 million roster bonus coming up before the draft, I'm pretty sure that his roster spot is safe for the year.
