Oscars, tonight. Life of Pi, visual effects. Technician. That's gotta fry his balls.

Not that he gives a shit, ( I really believe that) but I'd like to see him win, as it was his last movie.

Special effects foreman of Jurassic Park and doesn't get even a wink of a nod for an Oscar--gimme a friggin' break

The dude was the shit in special effects- he got badly hurt doing his job. I got to see him roll a few times (on set- see I know the movie vernacular, lol) and also got the great gift of talking to some of the directors of some of those movies that absolutely brag about him... I got to talk to them because he was so well respected... I really like the man, he always gave me red carpet treatment, and made it effortless- guess you'd have had to been there.

That's going out in style ! Don, if you ever read this, you deserved a dozen of these, bro! You da man! I oughta post your special effects from all those movies right the fuck here for everyone to see just how profound your work has been. They know your work, hell, half of them base their lives on it, from what I've seen, lol

I struggle with this all the time.. I want to expand my career, earning potential and location, but the gamble of upsetting my kids life and possibly not hanging onto the opposing cliff puts me in a holding pattern. I don't care if I struggle, but I refuse to make those that depend upon my decisions to struggle because of my decisions.
