But isn't that the crux of this Rodgers debate, if he has or hasn't proven he's got what it takes to be our starting QB? The only time I think about the STFU comment is when it is brought up in this forum. Should he have said it, probably not.
But was he under unbelievable pressure due to the circumstances of the off season? Did he keep it together and show professionalism? One slip up, or poorly phrased comment, does not mean much to me when you consider the atmosphere at the time of said comment. After all, he's just a kid answering the same stupid questions and comments over and over.
If it had been Ryan Leaf in the same situation he probably would have murdered someone!

I always enjoyed the Mike Singletary type of mentality.. let your play do the talking for you, but everyone freaking player on the field could feel your intensity without saying a flipping word.
I admired Aaron later in the season when he kept getting up after getting crushed, walked back into the huddle and lined up again for the next play... that there spoke more to me than any word he could utter.
