Well, it's something like 70% now for firing no one. Everyone has a right to their opinion, but this thread is going on 6 pages of arguing with a handful of nut cases.

I keep seeing people saying after 1 losing season he should get a pass but ummmm this is the 2nd losing season in 4 for Ted Thompson and My opinion is we give him till training camp. If he does nothing in the FA market and then drafts stupid i say throw him on his train and if we have another losing season next year we send Mike McCarthy on his train as well.

As the famous person once said "stupid is as stupid does" lol

Oh i wanted on the part about Reggie you hit that on the head D before Reggie noone would come to GB and to be honest i can see the same thing happening all over again. The world is full of cycles so maybe we are cycling back to the teams of the 80's when we were happy to just beat the bears and could care less if we won any other games.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

I think they should fire both Thompson and McCarthy and then continue to fire every GM and HC every three years if they cannot match the 13-3 record these guys put up.

Of course under those terms we will see a new GM and HC every three years until everyone on this forum is dead and gone.

Which makes sense since it's obvious some here are willing to die and go to hell before admitting they were wrong anyhow.

We need to be aggressive in FA this year. We have the team to be a LEGIT contender with one good FA class.

Look at the Patriots two offseasons ago. They spent years having quality drafts and decided that this was the year to be aggressive in the FA market and trading market. They fill a need at WR with Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Donte Stallworth, and Jabar Gaffney. They also pick up Adalius Thomas on the defensive side of the ball.

I'm not saying we will go 18-1 but the point is one great offseason can turn a team into one of the league's best. We have the depth, now we need the firepower.

Screw it... "King" Carl Peterson was ousted this week.. fire Thompson and bring in the King... so we can enjoy 20 years of struggling football.

I would be willing to bet one years posting on this site with anybody that wants it that REGARDLESS of the record this year or NEXT YEAR both Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy will be here.

You see I BELIEVE that there are people in the front office a lot smarter than some on this forum who see's whats TRUE and what is FALSE regarding this football team.

First of all no one in the front office gives a rats ass what the record was in '05 and don't hold Ted Thompson accountable for the miserable job at GM that preceeded him.

The talent on this club is off the charts better than what Thompson inherited in 05. Just ask Ron Wolfe. I wonder how many European caliber players he can pick out on this roster?

They are also aware of the learning curve and experience gained by ARod that will pay dividends in the future because he obviously has the ability to be one of the premier QB's in the NFL.

We've got the youngest team in the NFL with a first year starting QB and we lose a buttload of last minute games and everybody is running out of the building yelling "fire, fire," and all it really amounts to is some good old boys out back grilling some brauts and drinking a beer.

Chill out. These guys aint going nowhere.

I get instantly excited just by reading the title of this thread.

What happened to this team?

Heads need to roll and it starts at the top.
