Haha wow I cannot believe someone pointed that out, but I am a vegetarian, so I will steer clear of any thoughts of that nature to avoid getting booted out of the forum 😛

It's one of history's most amusing ironies: The solution proposed by environmentalists (both Republicans and Democrats) to reduce America's carbon emissions has instead precipitated one of the world's greatest environmental catastrophes. According to Time Magazine : "The grain it takes to fill an SUV tank with ethanol could feed a person for a year."

Consequently, the rain forests are being leveled at an unprecedented rate to grow corn for ethanol, releasing never-before-seen amounts of carbon into the atmosphere. Deforestation alone now accounts for 20% of the world's carbon emissions.

Iowa now produces so much ethanol that it's a net importer of corn!

Father passing away... playing against Oakland... I guess you're destined to have a big game when that happens, Cassel was great.

I saw a small bit of that Vikings game, Jackson's pass to, I think, Berian was perfect. He seems to be stepping up now, when it matters.

Defense was playing pretty great aswell, especially the defensive line. From the part I've seen, I really felt sorry for Warner and their O-line.

Matt Cassel is currently 16/24 for 206 yds with 4 (count 'em, FOUR!) TD passes! S. Morris has chipped in with another rushing touchdown. Right now the Patriots are destroying the Raiders 42-14 with 10:41 remaining in the third quarter.

And we thought our defense was bad!
