I don't buy it. This may happen at times, but it's going to happen to everyone. Underneath players are often the #3-4 or even 5th in a QBs progressions. As a result, Rodgers is not always going to be able to get there. In fact, due to Rodgers buying time, he's able to scan the field more than most other QBs.
There is absolutely no question that without Rodgers buying time like he often does, this Packers team would not be as good as they are. Yes, that will result in some bad plays, but my prior sentence stands.
