As long as we're talking about random things, did anyone else think the announcers were kind of lame today?
1. On that first play that was challenged and overturned by McCarthy, I was yelling at my TV, but the announcers never questioned the call. Thankfully, the Packers threw the challenge flag in time, just barely.
2. On Jennings' TD, Boselli kept saying that there was no pass interference (why he was so obsessed with this is anybody's guess, because it was a TD anyway) even though the other player clearly grabbed Jennings' jersey and pulled on it.
3. On James Jones' long catch, it took the announcers forever to realize that he had both feet in bounds. I could see it right away.
4. I think it was in the third quarter that Boselli said something about how both QB's had all day to throw the ball. But he was only half right. Garrard had all day. Rodgers was under pressure a good deal of the time, and more and more as the game went on.
I think these announcers usually do an okay job. They seemed to have an off-day today.
