Matt Cassel is currently 16/24 for 206 yds with 4 (count 'em, FOUR!) TD passes! S. Morris has chipped in with another rushing touchdown. Right now the Patriots are destroying the Raiders 42-14 with 10:41 remaining in the third quarter.

And we thought our defense was bad!

Bears and Vikings both look like they are winning this week. The question is who will be going to the playoffs. AP is definitely the kye player going into the playoffs. Personally, I would love to see how he peforms in that heightened playoff environment.

Meanwhile the Vikings are pounding the Cardinals 28-7 with 6:20 remaining in the third quarter. Tavaris Jackson has an astounding 3 touchdown passes on 9/13 passing for 100 yards!

That's a TD pass every 4 attempts and every 3 completions. Unbelievable.

Holy crap . . . T. Jackson to B. Wade for 59 yards and a TD. That puts him at 4 for the day. And he's still only thrown for 163 yards. That's some amazing efficiency.

I have to think the Vikings must be getting the ball with great field position in order to post numbers like that, but unfortunately I can't watch the game.

It is mind-boggling to me to think that a team can put 35 points on the board on a day in which their QB has only attempted 17 passes and completed 11 of them.

A lot of those drives are because of the running game, though. T-Jack has been efficient, yes. Even had a nice pump fake for that Wade TD bomb. But I give those successful drives to the run game.

I have to take issue with your signature, though. The vast majority of deforestation occurs to clear pasture for beef cattle and (increasingly) to open fields to grow corn for ethanol.
