I don't think they have been playing any worse than before. The problem is that they haven't gotten any better. Just good enough to lose. This is a lost season.
Here is the sequence of disastrous events:
1. Ryan Grant drops a pass that could have led to a TD.
2. Tony Moll whiffs on his block and Rodgers gets sacked, resulting in 3rd and long and leading to a field goal.
3. Defense immediately gives up go-ahead TD. (I was reduced to hoping they could get their TD as quickly as possible so our offense would get the ball back with more time.)
4. Rodgers makes two horrible throws during the final drive. The first one easily could've been picked off. The second one was picked off. He is really pressing now. I think it was a more a case of inaccuracy than poor decision-making, but it doesn't really matter. A bad pass is a bad pass.
