Packers coach Mike McCarthy announced Benson had surgery on his foot yesterday, and would not be activated from the IR/designated for return list

The the may has turned into a NOT... that is disappointing.

There were some rumblings about it being used on Bishop, that he could be good to go by the playoffs... but I really doubt it being a torn hammy and all.
