I'm pretty sure that you guys don't get blasted for killing out half a continent of Native Americans anymore, so obviously, we don't get blasted for enslaving half the world and plundering all the spices we could find.

Oh, I specifically didn't even bring up Germany. It's the other former imperialistic bastards who think their histories are clean and point at America as the ultimate evil. At least the Germans have the balls to admit that they fucked up.

My only hope now that the election is over.. is that bipartisanship takes priority and we start working on solutions for this country rather than sitting on our thumbs and spinning for another 4 years.

Take example from Obama and Gov. Christine's dealing in the post Sandy wake.

Adults working together for the nation.. not against each other.

Lead by example and action.. 'tis time to do so. GO.

Ironically, we do still call that our Golden Age, but you can't have everything.

If anything slams the US now, it's because you've been at peace for, what? A total of twenty years?

Personally, I don't care. If you feel like you have to bomb every country that looks at you funny, feel free to. I'm not slamming the US, at all. It's absolutely ridiculous to go with generalizations like that, making out the entirety of America for warmongering idiots, while half the people I know would like their country to just pull out of all foreign affairs.

I guess it's time to forgive the Germans, as well, as GermanGilbert makes some good points. It's just hard when every second German rides a bike they stole from us 70 years ago.

As for peace, I'd LOVE to withdraw from EVERYWHERE. The Obama/Romney ticket was our war ticket though, and the war ticket won.

So close your eyes and point your finger at a world atlas and if it's colored people, they might be the ones to get bombed next. I'm guessing it's Iran. Right now, the government is working with the government media to make Iran out to be EVIL.

Good job America. You voted for Obama/Romney. That means we'll be at war for another 4 years, the rich will get richer, the middle class will continue to disappear, and America would be headed closer to a police state. Obama/Romney care as much as the Constitution as I do about Jessica Simpson's new hairstyle.

So Foster, I don't vote in MY best interests either. I vote what's best for the country. The Zombieslayers will continue to be OK. I've learned how to be out of work for a year at a time and still thrive. You get used to it when you have 12 straight years of GWB/Obama (now gonna be 16). When you do work, recognize the difference between wants and needs. Eliminate wants.

Stock Market tumbled this morning.. I am sure that it will be blamed entirely on the election.

Europe slowing down and conflict on fiscals, in which both parties are to blame, will get little mention.
