All the talk about Jeremy's dad passing away has me thinking about some of the songs my parents use to sing as we were driving down the road on family trips.

We use to beg them to stop. Oh I wish I could hear them sing together today.

My favorite son when I was 5-6 was Percolator. Both Dad and Mom would call me when the song came on the radio. Maybe this is why I am partial to instrument only songs today.

Amazing cover. Seen them live. The energy when they play is stunning. Probably the best festival band I've seen live.

at the office today I found myself reciting the lyrics to Maybellene.

I typically don't like remake versions as much as the original but I like Foghat's rendition the best. That said Chuck Berry just exudes cool when he sings it.

I don't know what has happened to the youtube shortcut. I can't post videos any more. I tried several different ways with no luck.
I even went back to one of my earlier posts and tried inserting the new link to that one and adding the new link to someone else's post. The prior links still work fine but the new one does not.

So I will attach this one via hyper link.

Woke up thinking of this song.
