I do not think Finley's intention is to do harm or to cause problems. He seems like a guy who has behaved (and was allowed to behave) a certain way and still hasn't realized how it makes him sound to his teammates and fans. What was this guy like in college at TX?
Teamwork is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another. -Vince Lombardi

If the Packers decide to franchise Jennings next year, Finley will definitely be traded or cut after the season. If they let Jennings walk, I see Finley playing out his contract and then the team letting Finley walk after '13. He had a breakout season in '09, but then just has not been able to put it together after coming back from injury last season. His big mouth doesn't help matters either. How Quarless plays after he comes back from injury could play a part in it as well.

It’s probably not the smartest thing to do: to call out your elite quarterback about getting you the ball. It’s Finley’s job to get on the same page as Aaron Rodgers, not the other way around. Especially if you want to get the ball thrown your way.

We just play more unified without him in the line up. That is my stance. I don't know what it is, but when he's out, we seem to come together. I think when Quarless comes back there is little need to keep him if we can get a great trade done. I like the guy, but I don't think he fits in with this locker room very well. I think there is a disconnect.

Before the season started I was against it but in all honesty i'd rather keep grog than finley so let's make it happen.

"First off, for Jermichael even to play in the game I think says a lot about him," McCarthy said. "I know the training staff didn’t think he was going to be able to play after his exam Sunday and even Monday morning (prior to the Houston game).

"For what he did between Monday and Friday to get on the field and show he could do it is a huge credit to Jermichael."

I think it's pretty significant that MM's standing behind Finley like this. Says alot about how he feels about him.

From another thread, i think it fits better here.

not sure who runs this twitter but i find it relevant:

Packer Report ‏@PackerReport

Every day at practice, I watch Fontenot fire one ball after another to Finley during ST segments. Amazing he struggles in games.
