Jordy also had a 15 TD season. Let's run some stats here:
Jordy:

2011 - 68 1263 18.6 15
2012 - 23 289 12.6 1

Finley:

2011 - 55 767 13.9 8
2012 - 22 198 9.0 1

For the record, I have yet to hear Jordy complaining about 🇦🇷 not looking at him enough. He just catches passes and gets TDs.

Jordy also was a stud in the SB. He's on the front cover of that SB Sports Illustrated issue with Aaron. That was the year Finley was injured and 🇦🇷 actually spread the ball around like Favre did post Sterling Sharpe. When Finley's healthy, Aaron forces it to him like Favre did to Sterling Sharpe.

(Except Sharpe actually caught passes).

When has Jermichael Finley complained about Aaron Rodgers not looking at him enough?

I guess I am just not full of bias and call it like I see it. Nelson five drops. Finley five drops. Both need to up their game. And with that said, I trust Nelson to recover quicker than Finley. 🤷

Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Jordy is selfless, and he doesn't care if he catches 2 balls or 20 balls. Jordy Nelson just wants to win, and I hardly think J-Mike doesn't have the same mantality.

Enough is enough. He is a monster talent if he focused well. But he has become the center of gravity for bad press, and bad press seeps into locker rooms and can manifest into a cancer in team chemistry.

From PFT- And the comments are interesting.

I agree, enough is enough.
I wanted him gone at the end of last season. Not only has he not improved on the field, he is poisoning the well in Green Bay.
Trade him for a bag of used K-balls and move on.

It's pretty obvious most are exaggerating Jermichael Finley's comments into the negative realm, but if he chose his words better it wouldn't happen. Every reporter and journalist and wanna be blogger who lacks any journalistic fortitude uses Finley as fodder for page hits. Why? Because his openness makes him an easy target.

When the Packers won the Super Bowl in 2010 without him, I was fine with Andrew Quarless and Co. taking over and the money being allocated else where. Yes, his mere presence opens things up, however, how has that worked this season for the Packers?

The players and coaches say a lot of positive things about Finley. We can say 'what else they gonna say' but keep in mind that Josh Sitton and T.J. Lang have been very blunt about things, even indirectly criticizing their head coach. There are players on this team that are not afraid to speak their mind about other players or coaches. Yet, all things are positive with Finley.

I'm quick to point out that Finley and Jordy Nelson have five drops each. Only because I'm objective where others lack it. ZING! It's not in defense of Finley.

I lost patience for Finley when he got hurt and missed most of the season. Then in 2011 I said okay, he's dropping balls, this is new for him. Worried about contract? Worried about the coach saying he needs to play a full season? Fine, so be it. 2012, new contract and played 16 games, right? I have nothing left to answer for his poor play.

Aside from the easy catches he drops ... the thing that really doesn't sit with me is ... the drops AND his showboating after making a routine play. A 12 yard catch on 2nd down is not a pound your chest moment. It's something you are EXPECTED to do.

I can think of several other players more deserving of this money.

2/22/2012: Signed a two-year, $14 million contract. The deal included a $1 million signing bonus. Another $1 million is available through incentives. Finley is eligible for $300,000 offseason workout bonuses in each season.
2012: $950,000 (+ $3.5 million roster bonus)
2013: $4.45 million (+ $3.5 million roster bonus due in March)

Jordy Nelson and Jermichael Finley have dropped five passes each. Where's the Jordy Nelson bashing?

I've seen Finley make some great blocks this year, and I've seen him make some really weak efforts. I've also seen him make a few great catches, along with some really bad drops of catchable, important balls. To me, he is not earning his keep here. Add the PR mess that he is and as been for the Packers, and his continued harping on a lack of "chemistry" with his QB, and, yeah, his shit is wearing thin.

The Big Unit, at 1250am likes to point to Nelson quite often in defense of Finley, insinuating a racial bias. Maybe there is some of that with -some- fans. Not me. I don't go for that stuff. I'll direct attention to those two points I mentioned regarding Jermichael Finley, and his lack of production. That is what it is. A lack of production and I think a bit of immaturity adding to a lack of professionalism.

I would get rid of him. He seems like a cancer to the team. He is not putting up, and he is not shutting up. Get rid of him. I'd rather have a slightly slower, shorter player who makes plays with consistency at the TE position than a prima dona physical wonder who continually misses important assignments.

He can turn that around by becoming more reliable and more professional, but I think we have been saying something along those lines for the past 3 or 4 years.

He reminds me a bit of Javon Walker. A friend of mine sat next to Javon on a plane ride, and described him to be like that big beautiful blonde with the big tits... dumb - as - a - doorknob.

Again, I see people putting words in Finley's mouth based off what a journalist said, rather than his own words. This is why I hate reporters/journalists, etc ... they have no accountability at all.

An athlete will give two answers when asked about how's the best at their position. 1. Themselves (this is common) 2. They'll list off several who they HOPE to one day be mentioned in the same breath.

Like I said before, he's not worth the money, but he's not anywhere near as bad as some make him out to be. He's a talented player who is too open and choose words poorly and lacks professionalism on the field. He is not worth even $5 million a year, in my own personal ignorant opinion.

I don't mind what Finley's saying too much, I'd prefer him not to say it but hes just saying he wants to play better and get more involved and that Arod and him should become better mates. It's not that big of a deal a bit immature but Finley's always had immaturity problems, AR's just gonna shrug it off anyway. Lets not read too far into this.

Zero2Cool (6h) : sounds like Packers don't get good compensation, Jaire staying
dfosterf (10h) : Nobody coming up with a keep, but at x amount
dfosterf (10h) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (11h) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (11h) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (11h) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (11h) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (11h) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (11h) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (11h) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (11h) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (11h) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
    Zero2Cool (12h) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (12h) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (12h) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (12h) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (13h) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (13h) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (13h) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Jalen Ramsey wants to be traded. He's never happy is he?
    Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : two 1sts in 2022 and two 2nd's in 2023 and 2024
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers had fortunate last three drafts.

    Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I think a dozen is what I need
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Go fund me for this purpose just might work. A dozen nurses show up at 1265 to provide mental health assistance.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Maybe send a crew of Angels to the Packers draft room on draft day.
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
    Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : what
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : The manner in which he won it was just amazing and wonderful. First blowing the lead then getting back, then blowing it. But ultimately
Zero2Cool (12-Apr) : I'm guessing since the thumb was broken, he wasn't feeling it.
dfosterf (10-Apr) : Looking for guidance. Not feeling the thumb.
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : If they knew about it or not
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : I don't recall that he did which is why I asked.
Zero2Cool (10-Apr) : Guessing they probably knew. Did he have cast or something on?
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : Did they know that at the time or was that something the realized afterwards?
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Van Ness played most of season with broken thumb
    wpr (9-Apr) : yay
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Mark Murphy says Steelers likely to protect Packers game. Meaning, no Ireland
Zero2Cool (8-Apr) : Struggling to figure out what text editor options are needed and which are 'nice to have'
Mucky Tundra (8-Apr) : *CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP*
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : WR who said he'd break Xavier Worthy 40 time...and ran slower than you
    Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Who?
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Texas’ WR Isaiah Bond is scheduled to visit the Bills, Browns, Chiefs, Falcons, Packers and Titans starting next week.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Spotting ball isn't changing, only measuring distance is, Which wasn't the issue.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : The spotting of the ball IS the issue. Not the chain gang.
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Will there be a tracker on the ball or something?
