Yeah, Dakota.

It seems to go both ways. D plays like shit....Capers is the goat. Next week the D plays well and he is all of a sudden brilliant again. I don't doubt his ability but call it old-age....I think he is starting to lose it. I still miss Fritz Shurmur.

They also got handed that ugly fumble by Harrell.

Other than that, they looked pretty decent, against that very good offense.

There was that bizarre "miscommunication" where Shields let Colston get deep and seemingly quite a few plays wide open over the middle. But they played well enough to win comfortably.

The problem once again, was on the OFFENSE.

whew. Happy birthday to me. At the end, all I asked for was that last first down. JAMES Jones!

I thought we got repeatedly hosed by the refs, to a bizarre degree, and had a very bad feeling about the whole damn thing.

My wife got me some shoes and a nice GBP sweatshirt, but that last first down was all I really wanted in life.

Christ, I hate drama- please Lord, let us crush someone so I can relax.

Offensively, minus the two turnovers... was about the perfectly called game.

One Turnover was Rodger trying to fit one in there.. some were asking for that, taking chances.. he took several today.

My only real complaint outside of the officials, was we should not play zone anymore until we can handle playing one... boy was that some ugly zone play. I get it, they fear the tightends.. but my goodness... learn how to play zone effectively. Even Woodson vacated his place... either that or several screwed up.

But again.. this was a decent game for the offense, look for more next week.

The defense.. stay in simple coverages.. can't handle complex zones yet.
