I think we can afford to let Greg Jennings go. No one wants to see that, but the realities of the salary structures dictate something has to give. I like him as much as the next fan.

Aaron Rodgers, along with all the other top QB's in this league started slow. He has been going through his typical early season issues. Holding the ball too long, looking for the long ball too much. As we saw today he is starting to relax a little bit and take what the defense is giving him, and releasing it quickly.

The offensive line has been average. They've struggled at times, but excelled at others. The amount of sacks they have given up misrepresents their actual play, Rodgers is to blame for at least 4 of them. I am still convinced we need a new offensive line coach, however. The run blocking by this team has been garbage for years. Hurry up, Sherrod.

I can't decide how I feel about the defense yet. They are slightly improved over last year, I think. Much of the issues still remain from last year, however. They give up way too many yards in long yardage situations, they aren't stopping teams on 3rd down enough. Someone besides Clay Matthews needs to step up in the pass rush. I do think our tackling has improved, however. I think we need to play more man, and less zone.

Fucking Brees was awesome this aft. I hate that sonofabitch. For planning purposes, all those bastards that have the potential to be great WILL be great against us. Fucker don't do shit until he comes to GB. Figures. Like we didn't know he could. Thank you Jesus, we dodged a MAJOR situation, here.

I think the first four games of the schedule was brutal for the Packers. We should be 3-1, but are 2-2 and need to move on.

Is EDS a better option at Center than Saturday, cause I am not impressed with the veteran? He is getting overpowered too much.

I think the defense has too many young players to judge it just yet. Hate, hate, hate the conservative play calling out of Capers.

Really like what Cobb and Benson bring to the offense. Would like to see some of Green too. I'd like to see our receivers get a little more physical, as it seems d-coordinators are trying to disrupt our rythem. And if they are getting mauled, they need to fight back.

I'm really pleased with Sam Shields play this season.

Sam Shields is the real deal.

We gotta get heat to the QB or the whole back-end looks like ass, in spite of talent.

Forgotten trivia--

Aaron Rodgers worked out with Brees for a couple of seasons in the off-season while backing Brett. I distinctly remember Aaron speaking of how Brees was such a great mentor at that time, and how he (Rodgers) looked up to him as such a great example of a fine work ethic in addition to the obvious skills. I remember thinking how the national media was missing this possibly important connection.

From everything I know, Drew Brees has had a major impact on Aaron Rodgers' success, so that needs to be said while I call him a motherfucker.
