http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/09/20/greg-jennings-takes-a-step-in-the-wrong-direction/

Basically, GJ has a little ways to go. Some were hoping he could play Monday, but it looks like he might miss a couple more weeks.

I think the team will be okay. Cobb is emerging, Jordy is doing his thing, Benson is starting to come around, and Aaron Rodgers will make it work.

This is a contract year for GJ and some people asked before the season if GJ would make any "business decisions" regarding catches over the middle, and other dangerous things. I'm not saying GJ is faking. I think we should wait till he's 100% (or close enough) as having him for the playoffs is more important than having him for a week 3 game.

But like the article said, not the best start to a contract season for GJ.

Your last comment was my first thought. With the emergence of Cobb, and his injury, he very well may not post over 60 catches, 1,000 yards, or 8 tds...he's going to get paid, but not what he expected in August

HIs health will be the reason he isn't in Green Bay next season. I don't even enjoy the thought of that. 😞

He will be tagged.

Greg says he can\will play Monday. We'll see. We know he wants to play and all that, but we'll see what the coaches\trainers say about it Monday night.

I’ll get through it. I’m a positive guy. I’m not completely worried about it lingering too bad. It is what it is. It’s going to be something I’m going to have to push through right now. If I can get close to 100 percent, that’s all I’m looking for. I’m not looking to be 100 percent because that will never happen, ever, probably in my career. Ever.

We might be able to afford him for one more year.

Packers.com video says he was "pleasantly surprised" with his performance in practice. Seems like his progress is coming along but I'd agree with all others that this is not the ideal way he'd like to start in a contract year.

At the start of the season, it seemed he was just saying "well, I'm just going to go out and play as if this is my last year in GB." I wonder if that is his agent/minders telling him to play hard to get. As a fan, I think I'd rather hear him say something like, "I love this team and hope I can find a way to come back next year and continue to play for the Packers." I don't see how that weakens his bargaining position. His talent is enough that any other team would surely snap him up for a fair market price if the Pack tried to low-ball him.

I say the GBP are gtg regardless of the whole GJ thing. 😝 I can shorten that up if needed.

I'd rather see Jennings rested if he's questionable. Let's see Jordy, Cobb, and Driver out there more. I want Jennings near 100% rather than risking him getting worse.
