You know what I like most about that fake? It makes our team more unpredictable and thus, intimidating. It's nice to see McCarthy's showing his mooseknuckle the past few years. Let it bulge, coach. Let it bulge.

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.

I was shocked the Mike McCarthy called the fake.. that is outside of his normal wheelhouse. It was refreshing to wrinkle it up a bit. They never seen it coming.

BTW.. the seal block by Sitton.. that was a Pro Bowl type seal block. They raved about the other blocks on that play, but Sitton truly walled that off at the point of attack.

I think the Packers have moments of struggle on defense, but I expect a better performance. I think the bend don't break in this game.. I expect the Bears to score around 17 - 24. If we fustrate Cutler early and get him moving, I don't know the Bears offense even scores more than 13.

A soft composure, he is tough, takes the hits, plays with emotion. But like McNabb lacks that composure to get it done with the chips down.

The Good
- Defense front 7 pass rush. Even though the Bears offense line is the equivalent of a grammar school offensive line, we shouldn't discount the pressure the Pack front 7 put on Cutler early and often. Changed the entire game.
- Cedric Benson. Benson carried the ball 20 times for 80 yards AND caught a few passes out of the backfield (something we rarely saw with Grant). Opened up some possibilities
- More Cobb. Cobb is such a versatile player and color me sold on this kids future with the Packers. Taking a pitch out of the backfield was the cherry on the top.
- Special Teams. Contained Hester and the fake field goal...need I say more?

The Bad
- DJ Smith in coverage. Only placed under bad, not ugly because while he is a liability in coverage he is exceptional in pass rush and run defense.
- Receiver drops. Close to 5 this game? On two of them, Rodgers did put a little extra on it BUT growing up as a tight end, I was always told if the ball hits you in the HANDS, you better catch it. Jordy had one hit him in the hands, Finley had one hit him in the hands, and Jones had one hit him in the hands (in the end zone). Can't continue to happen.

The Ugly
- Jermichael Finley.
- 5 sacks.

There is some swagger.. now build upon it.

“Heard some talk out of the Bears: Packers secondary not working coverage, bigger receivers … we heard about it,” Woodson told Rachel Nichols of ESPN. “We understand that Jay is excited about his new weapons, but it’s the same-old Jay. We don’t need luck; Jay will throw us the ball.”

If you can get pressure on Cutler and can catch half the balls that hit your DBs in the hands, there's no excuse to not win vs the Bears. Cutler is absolutely atrocious when he gets rattled... Unfortunately for him, their O line is pretty bad.

Ehehe. I work with a Bears fan so I snuck over to his computer before he came in and saved a pic to his desktop from last night's game of Cutler getting mauled. He just came in and I heard a "OH MY GOD!!!" from the other room. Lolz.

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.

I injured Jay Cutler and he got a delay of game because he couldn't get off the ground! lol

I won 35 - 23. I was able to pass better against the Bears. Rodgers through for 359 yards, 4 TD's and an INT. I threw another INT late with few seconds to go, so actually 2. Hit six different WR's... Jennings had 6 for 136 and a TD. Nelson had 2 TD's.

Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
