Surprises: Merling, Richardson, Brandian Ross, Barclay

I'm not surprised about Brad Jones. He's a starter on all our special teams units. Same with Crabtree.

Mild surprise: Brandon Saine. Just because he didn't get much action last year or in the preseason, but, he seemed like a lock to make the roster all along. Just think it's interesting that an undrafted player who hasn't played a lot, would be held in such regard.

Had 46 of 55 listed, for someone who knows next to nothing about building a football team, I'm giving myself a B grade!!! 😂
I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

It will be interesting to see who gets cut when Walden/Neal/ Sherrod come back. I'm guessing Merling then a lb and tight end?

I think Manning was kept for two reasons, 1) his potential which he has flashed 2) the other back-up ILBers are injured right now. (Lattimore(ankle), Francois(hamstring)) and it's Manning or Brad Jones to back-up those spots. And Manning looked lost out there at times still in this last preseason game.

I'm thinking Jones will be cut or Francois will be IRed to make room for Walden.

Also I wonder if Zombo is gonna play this season. He's on the PUP list Sherrod is. So is Quarless but it sounds like he's probably not going to get to play as he still as a long way in his recover. He was injured late last year and his injury was thought to take a full year to recover.
