Ted has the money to spoil Packer fans.

seriously, great list though. I like it. I like you. You're a good football mind. I appreciate what you bring to the board and you make me much more football smart.

that is a pretty good list. I think it might be a bit much but i like it mostly.

I was thinking about starting a thread called "hows this for a plan" and pretty much do exactly what Porky just did.

I got to looking at the salary cap numbers and that got me thinking. If we do what we all think we should do and release both Chad and Mark... that would mean the top 3 paid players on the team would be gone (Clifton, Tausch, KGB) freeing up almost 20 million in cap to go with what we already have. (which is around like 7 million right now I think)

so we will have some serious cash laying around if we do.

My list is small and short term...

Please start Brandon Jackson at running back. Give the kid the ball and let him run.

because hes slow, tenative and relatively ineffective despite the numbers.

what good is a hundred and a touch when you lose the game? He isn't pacing the team like he was last year. I thought the Oline played pretty well as far as run games go and I thought Ryan Grant should have had more yards than he ended up getting. Last year he would have taken the holes he is getting and delivered punishment. this year I dont know if hes thinking too much, or injured, or just let the money go to his head... but he isnt half the back he was last year.

when BJack is in the game... he is fighting for yards and busting long runs. and generally hes more of a threat... which allows Aaron to operate more efficiently as well.

Porky's list is extremely satisfying, but I gotta think some of those moves through a little bit. I AM going to do that, and it was an excellent post. In the meantime, I think if I HAD to have some immediate satisfaction, I would start firing some other staff, maybe so the players don't get paychecks, etc. Here is the link, including coaches, personnel folk, ticket staff, etc. This will help for easy reference when making shit-can lists.

For example, I want to fire Chris Kirby, Assistant Video Director.
Merry Christmas Chris, you are fired, bitch...hit the bricks. We are losing and YOU, Motherf###er are the first on my list to GO--- Assist your ass on outta here! (See, this does work to help alleviate some of the frustrations...it would be FUN to walk into some of these folks offices and blame them for our woes) Give it a try, here's the list:

This IS fun! :thumbleft:

This post is in jest, but the link IS excellent to read bio's etc. of coaches and staff... for example, maybe someone that got PROmoted from one position should be DEmoted when the subordinate FAILED in his job. You can see that type of thing there.

damn you're fast 93... got all the info and links and bam you got it posted already.

as far as firing Sanders... it never really seemed like the guy was picked for the job anyway... just kind of given the reigns because he worked with a very good DC in Bates. I don't think that warrants a job necessarily and when your D has regressed as badly as this one (injuries and all) I don't really see why we would keep him.

my wishlist is that Thompson knew this would be a tough restructuring year all along and was planning on this upcoming offseason being the one that he really puts his stamp on.

Geesh kinda sounds like a few players on this team but you warrant those.

What good is a good passer rating if we lose the game?

Im not picking on a certain player but why the double standard? Thats why i posted this.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Zero2Cool (18h) : sounds like Packers don't get good compensation, Jaire staying
dfosterf (22h) : Nobody coming up with a keep, but at x amount
dfosterf (22h) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (23h) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (23h) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (23h) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (23h) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (23h) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (23h) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (23h) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (23h) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (23h) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
Zero2Cool (23h) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (23h) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (23h) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (16-Apr) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Jalen Ramsey wants to be traded. He's never happy is he?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : two 1sts in 2022 and two 2nd's in 2023 and 2024
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers had fortunate last three drafts.
dfosterf (15-Apr) : I may have to move
dfosterf (15-Apr) : My wife just told the ancient Japanese sushi dude not enough rice under his fish
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I think a dozen is what I need
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Go fund me for this purpose just might work. A dozen nurses show up at 1265 to provide mental health assistance.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Maybe send a crew of Angels to the Packers draft room on draft day.
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : what
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : The manner in which he won it was just amazing and wonderful. First blowing the lead then getting back, then blowing it. But ultimately
Zero2Cool (12-Apr) : I'm guessing since the thumb was broken, he wasn't feeling it.
dfosterf (10-Apr) : Looking for guidance. Not feeling the thumb.
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : If they knew about it or not
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : I don't recall that he did which is why I asked.
Zero2Cool (10-Apr) : Guessing they probably knew. Did he have cast or something on?
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : Did they know that at the time or was that something the realized afterwards?
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Van Ness played most of season with broken thumb
wpr (9-Apr) : yay
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Mark Murphy says Steelers likely to protect Packers game. Meaning, no Ireland
Zero2Cool (8-Apr) : Struggling to figure out what text editor options are needed and which are 'nice to have'
Mucky Tundra (8-Apr) : *CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP*
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : WR who said he'd break Xavier Worthy 40 time...and ran slower than you
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Who?
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Texas’ WR Isaiah Bond is scheduled to visit the Bills, Browns, Chiefs, Falcons, Packers and Titans starting next week.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Spotting ball isn't changing, only measuring distance is, Which wasn't the issue.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : The spotting of the ball IS the issue. Not the chain gang.
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Will there be a tracker on the ball or something?
