According to Mark Murphy, Lambeau Field would see approximately 12,000 less fans each game if they went with chairs instead of bench seats.

I love the bench seats and think they absolutely need to stay. If fans can't handle their asses on the cold benches, here's a solution for your whiney bitchy ass.

The bench seats are great, plus they make the candy asses stay home in their lazy boys creating more ticket opportunities for us real football fans.

I always just rent one of the seat back things for $5, I believe. Easy enough. I prefer to stand most the time anyway.

But a little padding helps.....these were very popular in the last game at Lambeau field.

 

Yeah, wtf. It's only people who've never been to Lambeau who don't know you can rent those chairs for $5.

Besides, it's my understanding that if they renovated inside the bowl, they'd have to change a whole bunch of shit for the fire codes, but if they stand pat, they're grandfathered in.

I don't know where you heard that. They did a whole lot of renovation inside the bowl back in 2001 when they expanded. Including taking seats out.

The only drawback to having bench seats is when you are at the game with your daughter and some fat slob keeps trying to scoot closer to her. (or your wife. but she is more apt to cuss him out.)

Actually it does get a little frustrating when you end up 2 spots away from your real seat because some people decide they need more than their allocated space. After all we are Americans dammit and we are entitled to more than 19" in which to put our fat asses.
