Someone should file this away as a reference document for whenever people discuss NFL players' out of context quotes.

This one seems to be really bad though. I could see him even winning a law-suit on defamation of character.

Coles always seemed like an ok guy to me, kinda shocked me when I read that first part. šŸ˜›

I doubt it. He'd have to prove that what the reporter claimed about him was demonstrably false. He actually said the things he was quoted as saying; he just also happened to say a hell of a lot more than he was quoted as saying. :eyeslam:

Sorry.. Coles.. with an attitude like that, piss off.. I mean really, the offense runs through me.. FU.

It is a team game, all 11 should be hitting but there is only one trigger man.

Spew like that, ala TO & Ocho.. I can't stand it.

Take your seat on the bench.

I knew I could count on you to make one of the MANY references I was thinking about with this thread. :)

This is a perfect example of why I can not tolerate most writers. They take a few clippets and RUN!!! Instead of actually finding out the whole truth.

It was hard to believe myself, a little digging and then PFT came through with more info better than I had and voila!
