No offense to anyone who enjoys this kind of thing, but the idea of grown men asking other grown men for their autograph is not something I am comfortable with. I'd like to know how the majority of you feel about it?
This may be it's own thread, but I'm posting it here because this thread sparked the thought.

I guess it's the "kid" in me that enjoys it. Plus, all the autographs i have have stories to go with them, which makes it fun to look at the photos/things i have in the off season.
LJ (my wife) went up with me to the last open practice Tuesday.
I had a picture i took of A.J. Hawk his first day as a Packer. He was signing, (for everyone) and i waited and told him the story of the photo and he signed it for me. When he handed it back to me, i realized my Sharpie marker pooped out on me, and asked him if he could sign it again....he said "Sure!" and used someone elses marker.....it still didn't work! LOL! So he says "I'm going to try it in a different spot on the photo" and gets a pretty good signature the third time. It was nice of him, and kind of funny too.
I could tell stories about all my autographs. Some pretty funny stuff.
I know not all enjoy or even understand it. But if you saw my collection, you'd probably enjoy seeing it. Plus, i TRY to get pictures that i myself have taken signed, which of course then makes them one of a kind. It's not always possible, but that's one of the things i try to do.
