AP/EP/CP/EIEIO:
Today Minnesota Vikings owner Ziggy Wilf contacted Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver.
Even though Driver is still under contract with the Packers.

When questioned about this, Wilf said "I contacted Driver to ask him if he would be willing to let us borrow his "Dancing With the Stars" mirror ball trophy for a few months. We have this HUGE Super Bowl trophy case, with nothing in it but dust. We figured if Driver would let us borrow his trophy, we could put it in the trophy case, and just turn it around so no one would see the "Dancing With the Stars" name. Then, we would have a plaque made up that said it was the Vikings first Super Bowl trophy. As no Vikings fan has ever seen a REAL Super Bowl trophy, we figured we could pull it off. It might just bring some people in and give us some backing for our new stadium."
Driver could not be reached for his reaction.

Nice one, Cheesey.

Now that Favre's retired, I can't see Driver on MN anyways. More likely da Bears will make a play for him. He'd be a better fit there.

Did Driver actually win a DWTS trophy? I don't have TV so don't know. (well, I have a TV but it's attached to a DVD player and not hooked up to anything).

Seriously, do you really need a TV now? All the good shows you can buy or watch through the library. I'm watching True Blood and Mad Men on DVD. No commercials.

To catch Packers games, I go to a sports bar. I really don't think I'm that unique.

And no, I didn't see that chat post.

I don't like watching Packers in a bar. Too many idiots. Plus I like chatting with people on the site during the game and take notes occasionally when I feel like writing an article.

I do agree, having a TV isn't really needed, yet people always give me this surprised look when they find out I don't have Cable of any kind. My TV is used for the occasional video game, movie night with my daughter and Packers games. At the rate it's used, I figure I'll retire before it does.

Nah, that's fucked up.

People without TV's are usually messed up in the head.

It could be a coincidence, but I really don't think so.

Maybe 5 years from now it's all good, but chances are that if you are rollin' without the tube in 2012, I got even odds you are a fr
iggin' nut-job, and at a bare-minimum, eccentric.

Yeah, they usually end up being unibombers or serial killers of some kind. We've got seven TV's scattered throughout the house and three computers.
