Actually I briefly toyed with Moriarity. But couldn't see myself calling "Here Mori!"

Same with Babington (for the "last man to know everything")....Here Babi?

Elmer Edward "Pete" རང་དབང་ཤེས་ཡོན་ཁྲོམ་
Pete for short

Elmer = my dad.
Edward = my biggest mentor in economics.
Pete = what everyone called my dad.
རང་དབང་ཤེས་ཡོན་ཁྲོམ་ = Tibetan for freedom, education, market ("free market education"; dunno how to pronounce it yet, though).

How about....
"BARK!"
Then when you call him, just yell "BARK! BARK!"
WOLF would be a good name, too!
Or, seeing what the little guy looks like, how about "MOP"?
