The Baltimore Ravens called Ted Thompson to congratulate him on the Nick Collins pick saying they got a really good player whom they were gonna take with their next pick.



I hope this Safety can tackle, hit, intercept and COVER very well.

He’s an excellent tackler, and you guys know what our tackling looked like last year. So that’s going to be a point of emphasis. He’s a guy that when you watch him consistently, he’s able to get guys down in space, consistently brings his arm, and I’ll try not to screw him up and hopefully he can continue what he did at Maine and bring it to our football team.

That sounds like Nick Collins. Remember, when we drafted Collins, he was a 2nd round pick considered to be a reach.
