Let's use them both and just call him Beast Diesel. Works for me.
Daniels looks like he could be a good fit in rotation at DE in our system. Rotate Worthy and Daniels, and we're cool. We all know Capers can get creative, so, if we switch to a 4-3 for a couple of plays, he'll fit well at the 3 tech DT. I think what is going to happen with Daniels (and Worthy for that matter) is disruption of opposing plays. We'll have way more for teams to account for this season with what we've added in the front 7. I don't think Capers & Co care too much about him being a 1 gap player in his experience at Iowa. The guy simply gets back there and messes up plays. Big speed to go with interesting size. Some of these bigger OGs and OTs that we'll play are going to have their work cut out for them.
Love the wrestling background too, and his abilities to stay low, and in using his hands and arms to break through blocks. Add Perry to that... Imagine what this will do for Raji, Pick and Matthews.
Daniels -could- flip the switch on our DL rotation from "GOOD" to "FREAKING AWESOME."
