Wade, maybe next year Ted will trade the 32nd overall pick for an addition 2nd and 5th rounder to use on the OL. There's always next year bud! :P

Yes Wade, I'm not sure we will ever have the Sherminator's O-line again, but our offense last year was 2nd ever in points production and our QB was not really beat up. What exactly do you want done differently? You ground and pound when you have someone named Ponder for QB, when you have someone named Rodgers you throw.

My bitches about this draft have been very different in character. I wanted a trade down to early 2nd for Kendricks to cover TEs. I didn't want to spend anything more than a 3rd on a Worthy; and I'd rather go Ta'amu. I like several other DBs a lot more than Hayward. I wanted as many picks as possible between 35 and 125. Those are my bitches. (so far)

We had one glaring, critical need, Ted Thompson addressed it about as good as we could have hoped for at our position. All the other needs put together weren't as important as this. Whether intentional or not the theme has been quality over quanity. With where we are as a team that makes much more sense. Basically what macbob said.

Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame?

Well, I got the first 3 right, the fourth one wrong. I said 1st and 2nd picks will be OLB/DL (in either order). The 3rd and 4th pick will be DB/OL (in either order). Since we picked CB in the 3rd, I said OL in the 4th. Didn't happen.

Oh well. Fine draft from what I've read. We drafted D again and again, which is what we needed.
