Seems Raji was as effected by our lack of front 7 talent as was Matthews and our entire secondary. Green, Neal, Wilson, Zombo, So'Oto, Jones combined for a total of 3 sacks last year. Walden added 3. Wynn added 3. Those 8 players combined for 9 sacks? Wow. Osi Umenyiora had 9 all by himself for the Giants last year. Pierre-Paul had 16.5. Imagine what a guy like Raji could do with that kind of support alongside.

Raji needs a really good backup. I look at adding NT talent this draft as being super important, almost as much as OLB and DE. Raji is way more effective in a rotation, and with better talent around him. Took way too many snaps the past two seasons. Adding a guy like Poe or Ta'amu would be huge for Raji, Pickett and the rest of that DL.
