He is trying to get the biggest one he can. Actually, you can send your kids to college with a SB ring if they went to JC their first two years then went to a State school but still lived at home.

I am not disagreeing with you. I am saying I don't know if I could maintain my motivation playing on a consistently shitty team, even if I made more money.

I made more money in the army than I ever have since I got out -- or ever could for the work I was doing -- but that wasn't enough to keep me motivated. I went home depressed every night, sometimes almost to the point of tears. Sure, the $30,000 or so ($60,000 between my wife and me when I was deployed) I made was nothing compared to the millions these guys make, but I had everything I needed or wanted. The rest of that cash would just be imaginary zeros in my bank account.
