packs 1st game of 2012 on a wednesday ??

its possible the packers 1st regular season game of the 2012 season will be on wed. sept 5th, thats if they open the season at the defending superbowl champion ny giants. it was just announced today in ny that gmen will play the 1st game of the season on wed not thurs as usual, the reason being is because of a presidental debate gets the thursday billing. theres many rumors coming out of ny that the league is leaning towards the packers as the giants opening day opponent !!

I don't see that it makes a difference, as long as the previous preseason game is on that Thursday.
